Francesca’s Soap – A Mission to Help Cats

At Francesca’s Soap, our story is one of passion, resilience, and a heartfelt mission to make a difference. Since childhood, I’ve felt a deep connection to animals, always dreaming of a way to help them in meaningful and lasting ways. Launching this small business isn’t just about creating luxurious, handcrafted soaps—it’s about turning a lifelong dream into reality.

After moving to Mansfield, Ohio, I was struck by how harsh winters affect abandoned cats. The sight of kittens braving snowstorms, hungry and freezing, broke my heart. One kitten I rescued had burns likely sustained from seeking warmth near a fire. He survived but carried visible scars, a reminder of the daily struggles many cats endure.

The inspiration for Francesca’s Soap came from two special cats I cared for. My black cat, Nori—now the face of my logo—was tragically hit by a car before I could fully adopt him. Soon after, another stray I fed suffered the same fate. Their losses left a hole in my heart but ignited a purpose: to channel my pain into a positive mission to help cats in need.

Every soap bar we sell supports this mission. A portion of each sale goes toward providing food, care, and finding forever homes for abandoned cats.
